Scott + Reid is pleased to announce that one of our projects was recently named “The Coolest Office in Dallas” by the Dallas Business Journal. And, adding to the intrigue – it’s the office of law firm: Bell Nunnally. In today’s market, one usually associates funky tech hubs with such quirky labels and awards. When it comes to law firms, the design often tends to lean into understated and traditional finishes.

 

We were thrilled to think outside of the box with our client and bring them something new, fresh, and modern. As the Dallas Business Journal shared, “leaders at Bell Nunnally decided to give up some of the trappings of the legal profession when they moved into a new office a few years ago. The result is a modern, bright workplace that’s very different than what you might expect at a law firm.”  The office has a mix of work and play – with fun gathering areas for employees (even a space for cornhole) and social spaces that are flooded with natural light. This office takes advantage of the sweeping views of downtown Dallas, many meeting spaces offer floor to ceiling backdrops of the city.

 

 

Bright and punchy colors were incorporated into the office as well as comfortable living room-style furniture – creating intimate meeting spaces throughout the space. The end result? The new Dallas office is polished, energizing, approachable, and welcoming for both clients and employees alike.
