Employee Highlights: Sara McDermott

Sara is part of the Scott + Reid Accounting team. As our Accounts Payable contact, she plays a critical role in keeping our vendors paid and happy. She was destined to work for Scott + Reid, as her dad was one of our first employees. She has been part of our family since before she was even in kindergarten!

What are three things still left on your bucket list?

I want to learn to speak Spanish and travel to Fiji and Beijing.

What is the best thing about working at S+R?

My favorite thing is that my coworkers are like family members!

What single object represents you or something you love to do?

The ocean – it is absolutely my happy place.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a heart surgeon.
