Employee Highlights: Ron Socha

Today, we are highlighting Ron Socha, one of the Superintendents at the Scott + Reid Houston office. He may be a recent addition to the team, but he is already making an impact!

Here are a few interesting tidbits about Ron.

If you had 8 hours to do whatever you wanted, how would you spend it?

I would spend time floating the Frio River with my family and friends.

What is the best thing about working at Scott + Reid?

The embracing of the use of technology: providing a laptop or iPad to people in the field and using Raken daily reporting to keep everyone apprised of what is happing on a project every day.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

New Zealand.

How did you get into the construction industry?

I have been in construction my entire life. I started by working with my father building fences. Since then, I have worked for companies as superintendent, everything from building custom homes, hardscape, roofing, swimming pools, hotels, medical facilities to interior office spaces.
