Stronghold Resource Partners, an investment advisory firm focused on energy and natural resources, hired Scott + Reid for the build-out of their Dallas, Texas headquarters. The 13,000-square-foot space encompasses an entire floor within the prestigious 3811 Turtle Creek office building.
Design elements in a neutral palette were methodically planned and coordinated to provide a seamless, cohesive visual. Custom rift-cut white oak millwork is incorporated throughout the entire lease; including doors, framework, cabinets, desks, flooring, and monument walls on both ends of the boardroom. White stone flooring through the elevator lobby and reception flows into the boardroom, matching features within that space. The coffered ceiling is comprised of the identical millwork and inset with stretched fabric. Finishing touches of extensive glass and unique light fixtures creates a space reflective of the luxurious surrounding neighborhood.
The extensive high-end finish selection required precision in alignment of each component to reflect the desired design intent. A substantial amount of premium millwork necessitated proactive communication with the appropriate vendor to ensure timely install. Additionally, COVID-19 hit mid-construction and interrupted continued work in the space. The project team worked diligently once construction recommenced to complete the work safely and quickly, finishing prior to the tenant resuming normal in-office operations.
