Scott + Reid Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Last week, Scott + Reid General Contractors, Inc. celebrated its 30th anniversary – a milestone for the company. “We’re so grateful to have such wonderful people to work with every day,” said Chris Scott, “And we’re especially grateful to a certain property manager that introduced me and Brad some 30+ years ago. We could have never imagined this would be the result.”

 

Chris Scott (CEO) and Brad Reid (President) established Scott + Reid in Dallas, Texas, in October 1992. It was a humble beginning in a small, shared office space with three employees. Ten years after its inception, the company had grown to 11 employees, with two additional shareholders, Doug Scott and Jeff Reid. In 2012, there were 23 employees on staff and a second office in Houston, Texas. Scott + Reid has experienced exponential growth over the past decade and now has more than 125 employees and a third office in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

 

“Our company is performing better than ever,” shared Brad Reid, “We built this company taking any job we could get, but as we’ve grown, our focus has shifted to relationship building. We deliver an unmatched product and experience, whether we’re finishing out a corridor and restroom, 125,000 square feet of office space, or constructing a new building. The Scott + Reid difference is tangible.”

 

The company celebrated with events throughout the week. An employee-only event included a virtual component, allowing the Houston and Tulsa personnel to join. A grand celebration was held at the Addison, Texas headquarters with partners, clients, and friends of Scott + Reid.
